Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown Bell Rings for Local Families in Need - 12/10/2017

During three busy holiday weekends in November and December 2017 the Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown and Hackettstown High School Key Club rang bells outside of Walmart and Shoprite.  This annual tradition began in 1998 and all the money raised during the campaign goes directly to local families in need via gift cards to both establishments.  This project has raised over $70,000 since its inception. Real Estate Agent Bill Cogan Welcomed Into Kiwanis - 05/24/2017

The Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown President Tara Speer and Club Secretary Jessica Kiedes welcomed Bill Cogan into their club on March 23.

Cogan, a Hackettstown resident and local real estate agent with RE/MAX Town & Valley, is extremely proud to be associated with Kiwanis.

“As a realtor, I am working daily with families to achieve their goal of purchasing a home for their family,” said Cogan.  “Joining the Kiwanis was a logical extension of this work, as I was especially attracted to the fact that the Kiwanis emphasis is on young children.  I look forward to supporting the Kiwanis and helping the organization grow in Hackettstown.”

Steve Gandley To Receive The Key Club International Key of Honor - 04/08/2017

Key Club International has announced that Stephen L. Gandley will be receiving their Key of Honor at their International Convention this July in San Antonio, Texas.  Steve, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown, served and New Jersey Governor from 2001-2002.  As his term began three weeks after the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, Steve led the New Jersey Kiwanis District in aiding those families who lost a loved one in the attacks, especially the young mothers and mothers-to-be.  Under his leadership, Kiwanis and its sponsored youth members in Circle K and Key Club performed home repairs, mowed lawns, baby sat, and many other charitable works to lessen the burden...

Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown joins the Relay for Life of Hope, NJ - 02/19/2017

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny - 02/16/2017

On April 2, 2017 from 8am to 10am the Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown is hosting Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Applebee's at 225 Mountain Ave in  Hackettstown, NJ. Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a beverage (coffee, juice, soda or tea) will be served. The Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. This includes sponsoring the Hackettstown High School Key Club, Hackettstown Middle School Builders Club and Kiwanis Kids Clubs at Hatchery Hill and Willow Grove Schools. In December, three generations of the NJ Kiwanis Family ran in the Girls on the Run 5 K in New Hope, PA: Past NJ Governor Steve Gandley, his granddaughter Savannah Davis, former Vice-President of the Willow Grove K-Kids in Hackettstown and his daughter Suzanne Gandley who is a member of the Hackettstown Kiwanis Club. “Back in 1999, “ Steve writes, “Suzanne and I ran the Marine Corps Marathon and secured pledges for the Kiwanis IDD campaign.
